The Texas Supreme Court has struck down a legal challenge that would have overturned about 127,o00 votes from a drive thru voting effort in Houston. The Independent reports:
“The goal is not ultimately to have (the votes) invalidated. It’s to have them cast right,” Jared Woodfill, a lawyer for Mr Hotze told CNN.
Drive-thru voting is a method of voting whereby completed ballot papers are submitted by placing them in a drop-box. It is an alternative to having voters go in-person to a polling station, vote electronically via an electronic voting system and postal voting.
Granting an exception to in-person voting indoors, Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins had called drive-thru voting a safe alternative during the coronavirus pandemic.
On face value, the ruling seems reasonable. Leaders, politicians and media have spent the last 9 months shoving pandemic fear down the throats of citizens, and mimics the actual process of paper voting booths – but with cars.
The issue is that the suit made no claim of affidavits filed by a Texas poll watcher and former police officer Raymond T Stewart. National File obtained the affidavit and reports:
That affidavit, exclusively obtained by NATIONAL FILE, alleges that a Houston precinct judge and staff illegally used a stack of driver’s licenses in their possession to allow people to vote illegally in the 2020 election at a drive-through voting window created by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The affidavit, which National File provides the full text to, reads in part:
Staff would come inside from the drive-through voting booth and scan a driver’s license from someone outside and get a ticket and return outside. But sometimes a staff member would search through the stack of driver’s license on the table, then scan it, receive a ticket and also go outside to the drive-through booth. As a Police Officer, I quickly became suspicious that they were committing a crime by having the unattended D.L.’s just sitting on the table and that possible voting crimes were being committed using these forms of ID.
It is also important to note that other affidavits had been filed by private investigators linking Biden Campaigns David Jones to ballot harvesting crimes also in Houston.
No votes should be discarded regardless of who they are for. However, this level of voter fraud that we are repeatedly told does not exist needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
