Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate Joe Biden is marred with scandal, and it doesn’t look like he will be escaping it. The media has been successful in essentially silencing the Burisma story in Ukraine. Joe Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations about withholding American funding from Ukraine until a prosecutor had been removed. That prosecutor was reportedly looking into Burisma, and therefore Hunter Biden. However, thanks to Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell, information swept under the rug months ago is coming back to light as most of the mainstream media continues to ignore it. As it turns out, a Ukrainian court has listed Joe Biden as a criminal suspect.
This is yet another drastic implication that can mean major National Security concerns should Biden win the 2020 election.
Joe Biden claims that the prosecutor he referenced in the CFR video had been removed for refusing to investigate corruption. This follows a trend we have seen repeatedly where prominent figures and movements on the left accuse their opposition of doing what they are actively involved with. In this case, Viktor Shokin (the prosecutor) was actually investigating corruption by the company Burisma, where Hunter Biden held a seat on the board. Just the News reported:
Shokin has long claimed he was fired at Joe Biden’s insistence because he would not drop the Burisma probe. Joe Biden denies he was trying to help Burisma, and instead pressed for Shokin’s dismissal because the international community wanted a change in the prosecutor’s office.
Shokin had only been in the job about a year when he was canned, and during last year’s impeachment hearings Democrats and their allies in the news media claimed Shokin was fired for corruption.
An important detail was also added to this report:
Whether Biden forced the firing of Shokin for good or nefarious reasons, the removal of Shokin gave Burisma and its Blue Star lobbyists an extraordinary opening which ultimately benefitted Hunter Biden’s firm.
To their credit, The Hill reviewed documents released surrounding these allegations and admit they were troubling for Biden. The Hill asked:
1.) If the Ukraine prosecutor’s firing involved only his alleged corruption and ineptitude, why did Burisma’s American legal team refer to those allegations as “false information?”
2.) If the firing had nothing to do with the Burisma case, as Biden has adamantly claimed, why would Burisma’s American lawyers contact the replacement prosecutor within hours of the termination and urgently seek a meeting in Ukraine to discuss the case?
The real question left here however, is what will happen with the Ukrainian Court? Obviously Joe Biden isn’t taking any of this as seriously as he should. Does he know nothing will come of this, just like nothing has ever come of his family corruption? Or has it been pushed too far?
